AMERIKA ATBP. is the Philippines' first interactive television program about visas, petitions,
job opportunities abroad and immigration updates. Hosted by Mr. Crispin Aranda and Atty.
Normandy 'Jhun' Baldovino, this public service type of show is being aired on ABC 5 every
Saturday at 2:30 to 3:30 in the afternoon and over the Mabuhay Channel in the US, Canada and
Japan. Unlike other programs mainly dramatizing or providing canned information, AMERIKA ATBP
hosts answer visa questions on air, thru SMS and email, hence the program's unique, interactive
character. The program has five (5) segments:
Bisa ng Visa- Latest news and developments on visa and immigration laws in the US, United Kingdom,
Australia, New Zealand and Canada. Also featured are topics on pending legislation in both US and
Philippine congresses that would affect the issuance of working, tourist and immigrant visas.
Updates on visa availability dates.
Batas Dito Batas Doon-Discussion on laws and issues affecting the target audience (intending immigrants
and those waiting for their visas included). Recurring topics are adoption, divorce, annulment, family
relations, estate, civil and immigration laws, setting up and maintaining business/investments in the
Philippines and host countries.
Overseas Jobs and Opportunities-For business migrants, skilled workers and professionals, Amerika Atbp.,
features occupations in demand and opportunities for migration as entrepreneurs, investors and business persons.
We keep in touch with regional, state territories and employers as to their skills requirements for temporary or
permanent migration.
Visa Mo, Sagot Ko-Interaction with our viewers via phone patch. The hosts also answer letters and text messages
of viewers and give them free advice regarding visa and immigration concerns.
May Visa Ka Na Ba?-A mini-segment wherein we interview clients of Immigrant Visa Center who have received their visas.
